Jessica Bichler has spent over a decade supporting the health and well-being of families across New Hanover County. As a longtime small business owner, she understands firsthand the challenges entrepreneurs face across North Carolina, from navigating regulations to keeping doors open during tough economic conditions. Jessica is committed to ensuring that every New Hanover resident has the opportunities, resources, and stability needed to thrive.

Jessica’s motivation to run for the N.C. Senate is deeply personal. Inspired by her grandmother’s stories of being trapped in Nazi-controlled Austria during World War II, Jessica refuses to stand by while our democratic institutions erode. After experiencing the impact of environmental issues in multiple states, she is driven by the desire to keep New Hanover County healthy, safe, and enjoyable for generations to come.

Jessica is grounded in community, service, and her commitment to making New Hanover County affordable for all. Outside of her work, you can usually find her at the playground with her son, riding bikes, exploring the beach, drawing, or reading.
